Discounts & Access Opportunities

 

Bronx Children's Museum provides several options for courtesy discounts and access opportunities to eligible visitors, including Cool Culture, NY Culture Pass and EBT/SNAP recipients. A complete list of discounts including eligibility requirements is listed below. 

 

While reservations are not required, walk-ups are first-come, first-served based on availability and current capacity levels within the museum. Walk-ups are not guaranteed. 

 

To reserve discounted admission tickets, please fill in the Discount Tickets Request Form.

 

  • Requests must be submitted at least one week prior to requested visit date.

  • Requests are processed within 5 business days.

  • Completing the form DOES NOT guarantee admission or a reservation for your requested time.

  • Valid proof of eligibility is required at time of your visit. 

  • If you can not provide proof of eligibility at the time of your visit, you will be required to pay full admission price. 

  • You must wait for a confirmation email from a member of our team.


 

Available Discounts

 

Cool Culture

  • For members of Cool Culture’s Cultural Access Program

  • Free admission for up to 5 guests. 

  • Please be prepared to pay admission for the remaining guest.

  • Must present a valid Cool Culture card.

NY Culture Pass

  • Free admission for up to 4 guests. 

  • One session per card holder per calendar year.

  • Click on “Reserve a Pass” button.

 

Museums for All - EBT/SNAP/WIC

  • $3.00 admission for up to 4 guests

  • Must present valid EBT/SNAP/WIC card and a photo ID.

FDNY/NYPD/NYC EMT Employees

  • Free admission for employee.

  • Must present work ID or business card.

 

Association of Children’s Museum Reciprocal Network

  • 50% off admission for up to 6 guests.

  • Must show proof of membership with a reciprocal “R designation from another ACM Member museum enrolled in the reciprocal network.

Veterans

  • $4 off single adult admission with valid ID.

 

Blue Star Families

  • Free admission for up to 6 guests on designated days. 

  • Must show membership card and photo ID.
